Track bike winter storing?

If my track bike doesn't sell I'll probably store it mid October. I'm just wondering what type of coolant are you guys using for winter storing? I don't really want to use the expensive stuff if I'm just gonna flush it again with distilled+WW come spring time. Secondly do I need to fully flush the system? Couldn't I just drain it half way then add anti-freeze?

Also ill be changing the motor oil, battery tender, stands and lube some parts. Anything else different I should do to a track bike?

Ya I know these threads suck

... with a piece of tape over the ignition switch that says "NO COOLANT" on it.

Drain and leave it empty.

Have been doing this for years, no issues, leave drain plug and rad cap slightly opened. Take battery out, leave in warm place this way never any chance to accidentally start. Pump up tires to 40 psi, cover and forget about it

this is what I do ... drain it and leave it dry ...

Drain it, leave the bottom hoses off and blow compressed air in thru the radiator opening. Probably doesn't need it but I do it anyway. Plug up the exhaust and ram air openings, if your bike has them. I leave my rubber on but I'm usually putting fresh stuff on in March anyway. Up on stands, plug the tender in, cover and try to ignore.

So basically exact same as a street bike other then the water flushed.

Just don't show up at your first track of the year next year looking for hose clamps and water wetter right? ;)

Besides no hose clamps, no water wetter and warped rotors I was good to go. What's your point?
