Track Bike but no Trailer !

Hey all!

Bought myself a track bike last season but I have no way of getting to the track.. you can probably see where this is going lol.

I'm looking to hitch rides with people for the upcoming season in exchange for gas money, snacks and/or comedic conversation. I live in Mississauga and have only ridden track once before, buuut looking to really get into it this year.

A friend of mine (who also has a track bike) does have a truck buuuut a) don't want to rely on him all the time and b) would be nice to meet some more people in the track riding community.

Shoot me a dm if you're interested in helping out!

Rock and roll,

Zlad.

Wheel chock, tie downs and a u-haul cargo van.

Just buy a trailer why you have to relying on other people? That's me... than do what ever makes you happy.

Single bike trailers can be quite cheap as is renting a small trailer from uhaul. I'd go one of those routes or get Riders Choice to haul your bike.

As for meeting people at the track you'll find most are quite nice and happy to give you advice (good or bad).

Space might be an issue for him.

If space wasn't the issue time would be. Esp getting home. After leaving the track the last thing I wanna do is anything that prevents me from getting home! I'm wiped, I really don't want to stop and drop you and your stuff off.

I'd start saving now. $250/m will buy you a nice open trailer by mid July. I personally wouldn't buy one of the fold up ones, but that's an option if space is an issue.

The easiest and most cost effective sa without relying on anyone but the availability of a trailer.

Works nicely if you don't have the room for a trailer yourself and pretty much any vehicle with a small towing capacity can do the job.

Hitch, harness, ball and receiver, chalk, tie downs. Good to go.

This

It doesn't get any cheaper and smaller than this - When not in use I stand it up against a wall in my garage and takes almost no space. Cost me about $500

I couldn't depend on others to go to the track even through I probably could for every track day/race. What if you spend the money paying for a track day, get ready, prep bike and equipment and a few hours before the track day you get a call that your ride is sick or something happened?

Hey all!

Appreciate the guidance! Will definitely reach out to Riders Choice to see what sort of service they offer.

As for getting my own trailer - my electric Smart car has a range of 120km.. a trailer with a motorcycle would bring that down to about 70km lol/not lol.

So you bought a TB not road legal and you have no way of getting it to the track?

That was poor planning. Not trying to be mean, just the truth.

Hahaha quite frankly.. kinda. I do have friends with trucks + ramp I can borrow but just tryna meet more peoples :)

Convince your best friend with a pickup truck to get a track bike. ;)

I would personally use a chock. That other stuff just falls apart! ?

Hey, that's a slick little trailer. Did you buy it new or used? Do they still make them?
