Lady who is selling it told me she bought it at bicycle show about two years ago.
This is the first time I see Giant Boulder SE in such color:

Any guesses which model year it is?

I have a Boulder SE, but the shape of my frame is definitely not like that...looks wayyy better.

May I ask, why does it matter what year a bicycle is?
I can understand if it was antique and you were looking to auction/collect it, but this is a fairly recent bike.

Mine:
(from searching for this pic, it appears to be a 2007. Dunno if that helps you)

Knowing the year helps to negotiate the price - if typical seller thinks bike is two years old and I can prove that it is actually older I can ask for discount.
Reality - does not really matter, it's all about condition and sometimes certain years have better frames/components/etc.

I picked it up today - it is absolutely brand new, love it so far!

Ah I see, makes sense.
Glad you like it, enjoy! I know I love mine and although I really haven't used it much last summer compared to the previous ones, I will never get rid of it.
Already busted 3 rims since I've owned it (my fault lol, not a defect) and it keeps on taking my abuse.

Strange how the frames are quite different though.

Looks like a girl bike.

Haha you are a girl!

lol I can see why you'd think that. :D
I personally think that by having the rear part of the frame's upper tube being in line with the main upper tube adds some structural strength, the weld isn't the one taking the hit when I land on something hard.
It's all good, I love my bike and it hates me. :)

I ride a girls road bike and the frame is the same as a mens. Depends on the style and type of riding you do.
