Hello everyone,
I'm new to this site however I wanted to post and invite interested riders to the Toronto Torch Ride.
This motorcycle ride will raise money for the Special Olympics. It will begin on the morning of Aug 9th 2014. All riders will assemble at the Scarborough Town Centre at 0800hrs, we're going to ride scenic roads all day with a lunch stop in Peterborough at Riley Olde Towne Pub. Toronto Police Motor Unit will be at check points along the route to assist with direction, road closures and ensure that the groups are not getting stacked too tight together.
I encourage you all to visit the site torchrideontario.com, sign up if you're interested. We're only going to be running an escort and road closures for approximately 100-120 riders. I hope to see and meet many of you there.
