Top Speed, 1st gear, 250 ninja - 2008+

My first season riding, my first bike, my first post...

I'm learning the finer details of my riding...i'm curious about top speed in 1st gear...how fast does the 250 ninja go in 1st before redlining? Seems to me its not going past 30kms if that...but i think i've seen on youtube videos a couple of 250 ninjas hitting 50-60...and that might be mphs...anyways...please share your experience...

im 6' 170lbs, if that matters...

just put it in first and accelerate slowly to red line and take a look. you don't have to hammer it etc. According to gearing commander your top speed with you stock gearing in first is 55.2km/hr. http://www.gearingcommander.com/

Why don't you just try it. Or go to half your redline, note your speed......double that speed and there is your answer.
