Last year's CBR250 champ is looking to get sponsorship from Champion Spark Plugs in their current contest. I personally believe that this kid has what it takes to make it big in the future. Right now he and his family are looking for a 600 so they can race in the amateur sport bike class.
Tomas Casas is a 14 year old from Peterborough who I've known for a few years now. Back in his CBR125 days he used to practice on an abandoned Go-Kart track that had grass growing up all over it, and yet still managed to get his knee down. This kid has guts and skills. Last year he won 8 of 10 races, and the past two years was invited to try out for Redbull Rookies where he made it to the second day both times.
