Too good to be true?

How's it going guys?

I was browsing the internet looking for new gear for the season. I fell in love with the design and the price but is it too good to be true? Does any have an experience with Leather Links?

Also on a side note: do you prefer 2pc, 1pc or just jacket when riding? I take 30min+ rides bi-daily.

Wow, do they got that in blue and white? Sign me up!

wouldn't recommend it. spend the same amount with velocity...

personally I wear textile pants (A*) over my dress pants and a leather jacket(Icon) with gauntlet gloves(held phantom) and leather boots (A*). Could never see myself wearing a 1 pc on the street unless it's a FULL day of riding.

Looking at the feedback, suit MST-67 has good comments from actual buyers.
Sellers has only one negative comment in the last 12 months.

Item is located in toronto (M4X1R3). Talk to the guy if you can go see it in person.

wasn't there a dispute between these guys and velocity...my memory is really fuzzy but the vendor sounds really familiar.

I've seen suits in that price range so I don't think it's too good to be true per se... but I suspect you'll get what you pay for. If anyone here does pull the trigger on one I'd be interested in hearing about it though. Also, do they charge HST?

Looks like an apartment complex on Parliament south of Bloor. I wonder if he even keeps any in stock that can be tried on. Possibly GTAM member?

About 3 years ago there was a group by for LeatherLinks done by a GTAM member Sunny S. I believe they sold several suits here for around that price. That's why the name is familiar.

I'm still waiting for my Licensing agreement with Suzuki Canada to make Suzuki Branded apparel. Apparently they have licensing for Ducati, Yamaha, Suzuki etc. already. Actually I think some of the jackets and suits are copied right off other manufacturers websites.

If someone requests you to make a suzuki suit you can make one right? You just can't advertise one for sale?

I can't use logo's or graphics I don't have licensing for. Having said that I am already making products for Suzuki and am very close to getting Licensing from them to make Suzuki branded apparel. I will post a thread here when I do have licensing to legally be able to do Suzuki branded apparel. I think to succeed nowadays you have to have strong business ethics besides the absolute necessities (quality products, great pricing, uniqueness, excellent customer service etc.).

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for the info :) Now I understand why nobody would make my Yamaha mugs for me!! :(

I of course don't want anything Suzuki related and have been trying to track down some yamaha suits like so (but 1 pc, and a hump):

Might get you to put something together for me, I need something super ventilated for summer track days, my existing spyke suit has ZERO vents :(

I got one from the Leatherlinks group buy a few years back. Other than that some of the sizing seems to be tighter than I'd like, and the liner isn't the greatest, the suit itself seems to be pretty good. Still holding up strong. Went down in the rain at about 50 kph 2 years ago, shredded my Frogg Toggs but you can barely tell on the suit. One small scratch on the *** of it. Picked the bike up, finished my ride to work, rode home, and no one was the wiser.

Wore it today, actually. About to put it on to head home. Blue, white, and black.
