I'd like to review it...but it's closed down....with my bike in storage and the former owners didn't let me know. The landlord of the building was nice enough to call me and let me know though and all is well with the bike but abandoning your business and leaving your customers in the lurch is decidedly not cool.

Yep...would have appreciated a call about it when it happened. That would have been the "right" thing to do regardless of the situation.
Funny thing is...I thought something was a bit odd when they had me pay up front for storage this year unlike last year. Shame as I thought they were turning things around recently and I was relatively happy with what I'd had done there recently. Their selection of gear didn't really interest me as they don't carry the brands I'd go after. Perhaps that was one of the problems?
The prices on their new bikes didn't seem that bad either. I was seriously looking at one of the VStroms a while back.
Doesn't leave much in the area now, Honda on Dalton, K-Tech, Performance Shed on 38 and I think there's a cruiser oriented place on Sydenham somewhere. I'll probably take the bike up to Black's Corners Tire between Carlton Place and Smith's Falls though as the service and price out there is astounding, nothing can touch it in the area as far as I have found.

Got the bike back a week or so ago. All is good now, lots of nice horror stories where people didn't have it so good though. I'm out a tank of gas and a new battery as they let mine die.
On another note..if anyone wants to buy/rent a bike shop....there's one for sale/rent here in Kingston.
PS Can't say enough good things about the former owners of the business, Greg and Karen (the landlords of the property now), they have also been left in the crap by their tenant who ran the business until just recently.
