that made my ride. i was on a vespa, only doing around 110ish, riding home from montreal. long day, and long ride with lots of breaks. a couple riders passed by me, and gave me an enthusiastic thumbs up as they rode by, that was pretty rad and made my day. just wanted to say thanks! thats all... have a good week everyone

Wow, that's what I call a brave ride.

I've felt like a hero a few times after doing 1000km rides on 250s, I once rode a CBR125 from Orangeville to Toronto, can't imagine going any further than that.

Montreal to Toronto on a Vespa... better man than I!

1000km ride would be gnarly on a 250km. wow

better experience than me! I was going about 120-130 in the HOV lane and someone passed me on the outside only to be stuck behind another car the entire time

I did close to 1700km on my CBR250R for an Iron Butt in November ride with some members on GTAM.

Great ride just to the outer edge of NYC and back.

Good for you on doing that distance on a Vespa.

Ouch. I would need a few days recovery and it would wreck any motivation to ride for awhile.

Most importantly, you did it with italian style and flare, I tip my hat to you

Black Vespa? I imagine you received the thumbs up from many riders, but we were two of them. My brother on his GS, me on a Guzzi. Somewhere around Brighton, perhaps?

That's a brave ride. We remarked later that we'd never seen a Vespa on the 401 so far from a major city. Well done.
