Hey Daytona...if you're listening. I got the tire inflator from you but do you have a more permanent kit for the tire plugs? I like the tar strip plugs and they do work but I heard the mushroom type plugs work better as they seal inside and out simultaneously.
 
ya i had the plug kit but it was too hard to use it. I tried doing it but apparently i couldnt get it deep into the tire for it to stay. Now i have to call honda since i got tire warranty to fix it

Hey JC100,

This is a "Just Incase" Kit, its a fix to get you going. We usually suggest that you take it to a tire repair place and he patches it from the inside. Although I have heard people doing over 6000km with this plug in their tire without issues.

The mushroom kits I dont think make a big difference, if it went in through that hole, no reason it cant come out the same way. Just make sure after you plug, cut off the excess, and if you can put a lighter to it melting the rest down.

Its a great thing to have, and hopefully never have to use!

ya from experience you should carry that with you because u never know when a nail will hit u and then leave u alone not knowing what happened then all of a sudden when u stop at a gas station u will find a flat tire :S

Agreed! I have the tire patch kit but will go pick up the inflator tonight as I know I've seen it in Etobicoke.
