So my buddy runs a chop from his house. This customer comes to my friends house after buying his first bike TLR1000 to get work done. My friends notices his rear brake rotor and pads are shot. So he gets the guy a new ebc rear rotor and brake pads. Something like 14 days later the guy calls my friend to tell him the rotor and pads are shot again. So after some talks with ebc USA they agree to replace it. All this after threats this clown made to my friend. My friend not wanting to reluctantly installs the new rotor and pads. Now get this 11 days later this clown calls back to tell him it's shot again. This is a guy who refuses to use his front brakes because he believes it will flip him over the bars..
So a warning to anybody owning a shop in the Brampton area this clown is a liability. He rides a yellow TLR 1000 his 5.5 to 5.6 feet tall shaved head and his name is zab i believe. According to my friend he said their is something really wrong with him in the head.

5'5 on a TLR? How is he getting his foot on the ground at stops or getting on the bike in the first place. Thats a Heavy bike so only using the back brake will warp the disc in a few kms of riding.
 
1. How is this guy still alive?
2. Everyone knows the best way to stop is rear brake only and layer down.

not only should shops be warned, riders be warned too. By the sounds of it I would not want to be riding close to him on any road.
Even if he isn't using the front brakes I cant see how he has managed to shot his rear brake and rotor 3 times in a matter of weeks! Something not right there, couldn't be from riding alone. Unless he is accelerating and braking constantly 12 hours a day.

Typical internet witch hunt......

So you automatically know its for the fact that hes a bad rider from some dude post?

Btw i also exchanged boots from Costco 4 times now. I use them as brakes.... True story
 
Warranty are for defects in products not for stupid people who don't have a clue.. Look believe me or not i don't give a rats butt. Just trying to help out any shop that may fall victim to this clown.

Pads probably not, rotor will most definitely warp, especially on a 220kg bike using just the back brake to slow down/stop.
 
It just boggles my mind. I can't for the life of me think of doing it that way. Even if I tried I don't think I can.

True or not true, its a good heads up if you ever do come across someone who fits that description at least you have been told about them.
Internet witch hunt is a bit ott. The guy is just passing on a bad story about a guy who seems to be dodgy.

That's a pity about your boots at least you got good use out of them, less wear and tear on your brakes.........................

See its not that hard to take someone at face value
