I'm excited about attending my first track day Oct 1st at TMP. Not too excited about the forecast. Just wondering if anyone can explain the policy on poor weather? If I've signed up in advance am I out my money whether or not it pours rain? Do we ride rain or shine? Any sort of refunds or ability to reschedule for a later date? I'm aware of the usefulness of learning to ride in the rain, the focus on smoothness and all of that. All things being considered I don't want my first trip out to the track to be in drizzle or rain though.

P.S., I'll be in the beginner group on an 07 Black Superduke. If anyone who is attending wants to give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated!
 
Day still runs in the rain. I believe it's lightning that would cause a cancellation.
If you don't have rain tires, not much point.

Dont worry about the forcast it will change about 3 more times before the 1st of oct, and besides that, tmp has a different weather system then the rest of the world! ...lol
 
The only time i've ever encountered a refund of that nature was when the day was cancelled due to severe lightning nearby.

Other than that, ride rain or shine.

It's canceled due to weather. Bittersweet. I was really looking forward to taking my bike to the track so it's a disappointment. Although if the weather is lousy then I'm happy to have a chance at nice weather next weekend. But who knows? it could end up being beautiful tomorrow and ***** next weekend.
