Great job done by the guys who ran this. Here is a few videos from the day


I was in the fast group believe it or not lol. It was a great experience before getting into track days, im addicted already it was awesome. At about 9 mins two guys go down, i just missed them both, ill be putting up a tail view forword video as well, its still loading. It was my first time on the track, any input is welcome please.

Good for you for taking the leap of faith and throwing your bike on the track! Sounds like you've already been stung by track addict bug, welcome to the team.

Baby steps, and confidence is key. Don't ride over your head, and just enjoy the bike and the track. One thing many riders do is try to latch onto a rider that is MUCH faster than themselves and get into trouble. To start, just do your own thing, and eventually you'll meet up with a rider that is a "little" quicker than you. Rip around with him/her and slowly start to brake later, throttle earlier... If you do that, the lap times will come down on there own.

PS - your bike hates the street, keep it on the track ;) lol

nice vid. some advice about 80% of the riders in the beginers group look back when riding, 40% of the ppl in the intermediate group look back but only like 2%( and thats only if they are looking for their buddy) of the ppl in the fast group look back. dont ever look back you will most likely be faster, and yes i am a marshal at turn 6 so i see a lot but next track day i will be joining you all on the track :)
 
Very cool. I like the two different angles you used. I'll try that next time I go out.
