TMP holiday specials

The Thursday's rates seem kinda higher with the discount than they normally were last season. Or maybe I'm wrong, don't remember.

So, during the summer they usually run pre-registration at discounted price, and higher price if you just show up. Does anybody know how these multi-pass packages work? Do you still have to call in advance to book a spot, or you can just show up and consume a day from your package? (thus having control over your visit in regards to weather)

If you get track credits you have to call a few days ahead of time, they have to pull your file and add you to the list of registered and they won't do it the morning of the track day.

This past summer I wanted to make sure that I was going on a saturday, I called ahead of time, the person said it's fine to register on friday. I called Friday afternoon and they said it was too late... so I had to pay full price that weekend.

Try to register at least 2 days in advance.

Yes, it's only $5 less than a thursday, but only if you pre-register, compared to a thursday register at the track then you would be saving $25 times three.

For the weekend, you save $25 over pre-register or $45 register at the track times three, so it isn't that bad.

But you still have to call in advance and "pre-register", so what's the difference other than the $5? If you could just show up on the day without need to call in advance, I'd be all over it---this way you could still get the cheaper price, but see the weather and make sure it doesn't rain (unless you wanna ride in the rain of course). I'm planning to be on slicks full-time next season, rain is a no-go for me.

Yes, for 5 bucks a track day it doesn't matter. And I don't go out in rain either. The difference is that if you pre-register that has to be done a week in advance but if you have the credit you can register with that a couple days in advance. My experience this past summer, the weather forecast of 7 days compared to 2 days is sometimes massive.

For a thursday, if you have a credit for $85 verses at the door for $115, $30 savings times three, that almost pays for a free track day

You've got a point here I guess..

anyone know if you can split it with another person?

buy 10 and split the cost and days with a buddy.

If you buy this holiday package are the trackdays only good for days run by tmp?

I bought a package last year and used my credits with different organizers, not just the TMP run days.

I called up TMP yesterday about the track credit packages available.

One person purchases them, they go under one person's name in their files. That person can call in and register any one with their credits.

When asked, the lady I spoke too said that you have to register 4 days in advance when using these credits. Last year I registered a couple days in advance with the Easter credits without a problem, but just letting you know.
