Hiya...

Here's a photobucket link to about 575 pics I took today.

Pics here are free of course.

If you want the high-res shots, I'll gladly supply them to you.
Unfortunately, I will need to charge a very modest fee of $3 per photo to cover my costs, and hopefully save up for a new lens (about $1000) to provide the best possible quality shots in the future.
Simply send me a PM with the file names of the shots you would like, and I'll send you a PayPal address, followed by emails with photos attached..

Take care!!!

Album sorted by rider or tagged would be nice to have, but appreciated none the less.

seriously? The guy did this for free man

Yes seriously. It's the next logical step and If signing up for photobucket means I'll be able to tag them, I'll do that part for free too.

Because it would be nice to have, and I'm sure others would appreciate it, clear?

Only one pic of me? flat black kawi with green rad hoses

Sorry... tried to get shots of everyone... probably had more of you, but were slightly blurry so I tossed 'em.

Didn't see any of the wife? She was in intermediate and then bumped down so we could share her bike after mine quit. ZX6RR with white fairings. Number is 44D.

To be honest, i stopped shooting green shortly after lunch. A certain rider was doing parking lot speeds (seriously, no exaggeration) around the infield and last turn into the first straight, where they would hammer it and not many people could get past. Pics of bikes standing straight up and in a parade are no fun at all... :-(

All photos that turned out half decently are uploaded into the photobucket link.

Agreed!
Thank you for being nice enough to stand out in the heat taking the pictures, and for taking the time to put a huge amount of pics up, for FREE.
Most people can appreciate just that much.

BTW, in my experience it's usually people in the beginner class that will buy pictures. The mistake most often made in that class though is due to no passing in the infield someone always gets held up and the easiest solution is to pull off, wait for some space and pull back on. That should have been mentioned in the riders meeting.

Thanks so much for the kind words!
You (at least I think it was you, stars and all on the bike) and DaButcher (massive guy on the 'Busa) had a few interesting laps that I saw... good to see!

As for pulling off and waiting for space.. the rider in question was doing 4 minute laps (again, no exaggeration). A decent green rider would catch/lap him in 2-3 laps at most.

But needless to say, your advice is sound!

I was in the green group and I think at 1:37 I could probably switch up to intermediate - is that too slow?

Second, I think it's really cool that you took the time and effort to do some shots and upload - people have to realize that all this is work, unpaid work, and enhancing or customizing an already effort-intensive process (select, upload, link, follow up) is not part of what most would consider quality spent leisure time. much appreciated.

You are welcome and yes, that was me! Black R6 with race numbers, pink stars and "Speed Giggles" on my bike.
The Busa was fun!! I was ALLLL over him in the infield but just couldn't get by him safely in the corners or on the straight without stuffing him, and I won't do that, so I took my time, it's like hunting. ;)
Aww, that's too bad about the slow person in green, it's great that they're out trying but that can be frustrating. Someone should have told them to knock off the pinning it down the straights to let other people pass. I remember that also being mentioned at riders meeting a long time ago.

IMO it depends on experience. Are you comfortable with people buzzing past you? Can you pass people safely? Are your lines consistent? I really don't know what the average times are for each group. Anyone?
I find it depends on the day as well, I have been in Int where there was a lot of really fast riders who probably could've been in hot. I've been on days where it seems like there's a lot of beginners in it.

Great shots bro!!! Very impressed!! Hope your out next weekend as well lol

Asked the marshall at the track entry if I could go to the marshal station by turn 9 (?) and get shots from there.. he said I could go out on lunch break, but would have to stay there the rest of the afternoon... so, no..
Just really annoyed when he let another guy out into the middle of the infield later in the afternoon.. oh well, what can ya do?
