Tire Slashing in Mississauga

Hey guys,

Last night I was at World Gym in Mississauga (dundas and winston churchill area) and some guy slashed the entire parking lot filled with cars at 2am. There was about 13 cars total. FOR NO REASON!??!

Luckily I was leaving the gym so my car got sorted out but a lot of the other cars were from townhouses across the street.

Anyone else involved in this? I had to ride the bike today to work and it was fffffffreezing (still fun though).

WHO DOES THIS?!?!?!?!
 
People need a reason to slash tires?

Maybe he was a chubby guy and hated fit people.

My guess, one of those cars needed new tires, and they slashed many cars to avoid an insurance investigation.
 
bored teenagers who think it's funny/cool/disruptive/screw the system ?

incorrect...
i had 4 tires slashed on my car the same night about 5 or 6 other houses on my street had the tires slashed, i have CCTV on my house so we gave the pics to cops.
unfortunately for me, my tires are 20" and i wasnt about to submit a insurance claim for them.

also had the same guys take a prybar to my car door a few weeks later, luckily there was only door trim damage and i was able to bend it back.
joys of owning a car that sticks out....i hope they were not after my 6 yr old $100 GPS... but they probably were...
 
Yep, not all that uncommon. I know someone who had it happen to her and when she called for a tow truck they told her the police would be on the way because there were 20 or so cars that all had their tires slashed in the area. There's no rationale behind it, it's just bored kids.

Never underestimate the power of boredom and stupidity in teenagers! They do lots of stupid things that would make us older folk (I'm 33) Shake our heads in disbelief.

i think it's just some idiot(s) that wanted to cause some damage for fun.
 
This kind of reminds me of the old lady who rammed 16 cars a few days ago at Hurontario and Police weren't going to press charges..I don't care if your'e old, if you're a teenager...you're causing havoc and you need to pay for it!!!!!

I'm guessing World Gym doesn't have any cameras...that's why you should join Lifetime hahaha
 
I remember back in Mother Land they had a thing where local tire repair shops used to hire teenagers to walk around the hood and slash tires = those victims went to that local tire repair shop to fix tire = money for the shop.

The owner of the shop is an idiot....he should've gotten into a second business with windows and get the kids to ruin both at once! Now that's a business!

That doesn't make any sense. The insurance company won'y pay out for brand new tires, they'll take the age and tread life into account and give you the depreciated value. So you're no further ahead.

Bored teens, devils night......it's the same thing really. One is just an excuse for the other.
 
Slashed tires on Devils Night? Yawn. Most of Detroit was in flames. Could see the glow from my house....
