Noticed today that the Tire Fix Motorcycle Air Pressure Gauge is on sale at Canadian Tire for $5.99. That's 70% discount!! Great gauge I understand. The ergonomics of the gauge allows it to fit between the nipple and brake rotor easily for reliable pressure measurements. Sale began today; sale ends 16 March 2012.

I have this gauge, the readings are all over the place on mine though

It's a POS. I bought it last time it was on sale; it never worked properly. I exchanged it three times until I just got a refund.

The valve stems on my Sprint are at 90º angles, so this does not work.

I've been using this analog gauge for the past 2 years, with great results -- got it for something like $20 IIRC. The bleed valve is really useful.

This article from MCNews ( http://www.mcnews.com/mcn/technical/200511gauges.pdf ) reviewed several types and brands of tire pressure gauges. On the last page, it rated a similar gauge to this CT one as "Recommended". These digital gauges are possibly manufactured to very low tolerances to keep the costs down (and price low) and so quality will vary from example to example. But, for the money, it seems to be a good buy.

I have this unit, it's pretty accurate and reads the same PSI as my Michelin tire pressure gauge.

Only downside is, it turns off pretty quick and when you press the button to turn it back on, sometimes it will change reading to BAR so just make sure you're on the correct measurement.

I bought this one a couple years ago when it was on sale, pos... I put it in the tail of my bike thinking it would be fine there, vibrations killed it after one ride and it never turned on again.

I have this one:

You can order it from Tony at BSR. It handles bouncing around in the tail of my bike and has many useful features like a bleeder, etc.

I think I paid $30 for it, well worth the money.

I bought one of those digital air pressure gauges from CT. The batteries died in short order. The cost of replacements were more than the gauge was worth. Useless junk.

Get a cheap-o stick gauge and make a habit of checking before every ride. The two I have are pretty close to each other (1-2 psi) AND to the two mini compressors AND the 3-gallon compressor in the garage.
