The problem is that these are guerilla tactics. They ony way to fight them is using the same tactics as the Nazis in WWII. Catch one and lock him / her up for 20 years unless they cooperate and snitch on the others. It'll never happen.

Nobody accused them of being bright. Unfortunately it's probably the same as the bc logging protests. The ones with brains recruit team stupid and gullible to carry out the mission. Makes a prosecution of the masterminds almost impossible.
Those guys you see panhandling at intersections? Guess what they do at 3 am? They run down your street checking cars for wallets , phones and large cash .
Mine was rifled through , took nothing including $12 in loose change or sunglasses , focused on wallets .

It says they are putting lentil beans in valve and putting the cap back on to make it deflate. Wouldn't it be easier to just use a valve stem core remover? Maybe their method make less noise or maybe they don't know the cores are removable?
It would suck having your cores removed for most people as they would try to put air in and it will just come right back out.... they would have no idea why (=tow) and even if they did do they have any spares....

A co-worker use to have valve stem caps with the core remover built in. Seemed like a terrible idea but nobody ever screwed him.
While not a good idea, if you had stem caps, you should be able to inflate the tires and put caps on tight. Should hold long enough to get to a store and buy stems. I am sure the tow truck driver would tell you you needed a tow plus dollies plus. . . To drive the bill to the moon.
Lots of times I don't post stuff like this, because I don't want to give stupid people ideas.

After giving it some thought the best course of action would be to bust the trucks off a couple of their skateboards and hyper extend a few thumbs that should get them where it hurts.

Mischief is in the criminal code and its actually a serious offence , and very broad reaching , but convictions are few , since for most young people its life changing, you are no longer bondable and really limits employment opportunity , since you have a criminal conviction.
However , dillholes putting lentils in valve caps are not likely LCBO or border service candidates. Or any other job that requires a clean record.

Yikes... I've seen truck tires and split rims explode, these people are playing Russian roulette.

Plus...eff around and find out hits back pretty hard when you screw with people's livelihood in places outside of first world countries.
Typically a slap on the wrist here...third world...you get a beating.
EDIT: I think we would see a huge reduction in 'woke' culture, or whatever else it's called if people actually had to fight for survival on a day to day basis. Who's got time to worry about 'wokeness', 'harassment', 'mental health', etc etc when you're wondering where your next meal comes from?
I'm sure (without proof) that the only reason we have so much idiocy around is because people have too much time on their hands and they're bored...so they find something to focus their energies on. Good or bad.
Its over simplified , but your correct Mimico, we give many of these people a life support system through our social welfare , that then allows them the time to meet , plot, and F up lives of people that do not share their views. The hypocrisy is alarming.
