Tire Choice - 2CT, Power 3 or Rosso Corsa

I have done a bit of research already. Specific to my needs, I am leaning towards the 'Power 3' but just wanted to get a few final opinion from someone on GTAM who had experience with these tires.

I don't do track days YET, but I can't imagine I would do much at all even if I started that passion. I read that the Rosso Corsa is probably more of a 50/50 track and street use and wears out pretty quickly compared to the other two options from Michelin.

The Power 3 is essentially the new Pure and it uses the 2CT+ technology which has longer wear and better power transfer than the regular 2CT. Since the price difference is not that great, that is why I am leaning towards the Power 3.

Also, my front tires still has a lot of thread life, I was wondering if it would be much issue mixing the tires? Its street use and I don't ride aggressively so I assume it shouldn't be much of a problem. The existing tires are just the regular Michelin Pilot Power.

Out of those 3, Power3 for street/track, Rosso Corsa for track/street

I've never had problems mixing tires, I even had a bias-ply front one time and radial rear...no issues. Though I wouldn't really recommend it unless you have to, I had gotten a new rim and it came with the tire already mounted with plenty of tread, right when I needed a new front only.

I did 2 track days on the PP3s on my Streetfighter and they worked great. They are also fantastic street tires. Have two friends that use them and love them. If you're only hitting the track occasionally and riding the street a lot. PP3 is the way to go.

Do yourself a favour and chack the reviews for the Q2/Q3 on motorcycle-usa. I've used the PP2ct both street/track and hated them. Don't think I'd like the Pure much better. I got 14,000km out of my last set of Q2's and I'm now on the Q3's and have loved them. They are excellent on the street and I'm confident they would be great on track. Plus the price is amazing.

I got like 8K on my Q3's.
Awesome tire by the way.
