Time to start being more cautious around big trucks.

Wtf was the rider thinking. Jeebus. It sucks he got punished so badly, but that was entirely his fault.

He shoulda been more careful...especially since he's already riding in wet weather

Edit: Actually didnt see him moving, was just the ****** pixels of rain :S

Can't blame that on rain. He wasn't even looking at the stopped cars ahead. They were stopped and he slammed on his brakes at the last second. If he was paying attention he'd still be ok. The car in front of him even has a flashing third brake light!

Here's what I think happened:

The guy was lane splitting and he couldn't make up his mind whether to go or not as the gap between the car and truck was closing, until the last second when he braked. That would explain the late reaction. The thing is, it looks like there was room to split at any time, so my read is that he was probably afraid of riding too close to trucks! And then he dies.

Wow, this incident was totally avoidable =/

It honestly looked like he had enough room to just carry on as he was. Ironic if his hesitation to split because of a truck led to him being killed by one. If there is one thing I've learned about riding is that there is less room for hesitation in comparison to driving. When you ride, know what you're willing to do and capable of doing that way if a problematic situation arises your reaction is just automatic.

Driver looks like he's blaming the trucker, I don't know why since he's not at fault at all.

The guy who got out of the car looks over then motions to the driver of the truck "get back in, you dun wanna see that" :( R.I.P. rider.

RIP rider, I think he's done.....no?

Yep, pretty much 98% chance the dude is done.
Had a call a few years ago, dude got ran over by a similar sized dump truck on a construction site (low speed, under the rear tires) and it was a fairly slow painful death for the guy.

I feel like I just got punched on the stomach after watching that video... RIP rider.
