Looks like they've unveiled it a few days early...looks cool except everything is an optional extra on the 22k base model...of course

No reviews or anything yet though:

Boo. Cast aluminum wheels (with thin "spokes") on all of them. But don't worry, one has blind spot radar. wtf. It's a bike. Turn your head you wanker.
I'm guessing there will be some offroad focused models of the same bike brought out soon. Last Tiger 1200 had around 3 road focused models and 3 offroad one's. Likely just haven't made it to the site yet.

yes, they are all following the 900 pattern, theres a GT version for road goers, and a rally version for all the offroad guys

Interesting technology they got:

For me it will be very interesting how Pro Adventurer road version stack up against KTM 1290 Super Adventure S - long term I see one of these two my potential next road bike...

30L tank and shaft drive is a huge bonus imo.
Now we need feedback about steering/handling and power comparisons...

I am as well can't care less about Blind Spot monitor but according to Triumph - it was what their "interest group" wanted instead of Radar Cruise control... and there is an open spot under headlight - so potentially that is coming as well in later releases anyway...

..and do you think Triumph will be/is more reliable than KTM?

Golden era of powerful ADV bikes :)

I suspect this was spin and their interest group wanted tech and bsm chips were available and it was trivial to add. Once supply issues settle down, you're probably right, radar cruise will come as that could actually be a valuable addition to a mile muncher (unlike the useless bsm).

The orange is starting to grow on me, and no typical adv bird beak!
Bonus points for radar cruise, though to me it seems a bit excessive but
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if thats what the people want now days...

I suspect the KTM is probably more insane but the triumph is by no means slow at all

here is Pro Explorer with a few factory accessories: 42L top box and skid plate.. and custom Black color +$250...

yeah none of the top tier ADVs are 'affordable' to say the least

the KTM only has 1 street version at like 21k, it comes with everything standard except the rally mode and a quickshifter, which you'll have to pay extra for

Looks like the Paralever rear suspension. BMW's have been using that technology for decades.

I thought bmws were just front paralever?

If I was spending close to $29K (haha, not bloody likely) for an adventure bike I'd be looking at a BMW 1250 with decades of build experience vs a new Triumph. Just saying.........

not to mention it just looks better

I shopped the Tiger 1200 in 2018. Liked the shaft drive but it was close to Multistrada money but lacked the fun factor and overall polishing. I bought the Multistrada and will likely buy another one.
Looking forward to a proper comparison between them all in 22.
