A week ago as some of you might know we lost a fellow biker. Friend. And gixxer rider!!! All that aside Steve Lafortune was a Dad!!! On Thursday august 8th we will have a fundraiser for Steves 5 year old daughter at the GTMA meet at Royal distributing from 630pm to 8pm. All profits will be going to Steves daughters Trust fund!! We hope to see all who knew Steve come out and support this great cause!! 5$ gets you at hamburger/cheeseburger or a hot dog with a drink! There will also be a 50/50 draw.

One of our regular's at Bike night in Innisfil asked me if I'd hold the Bike Night on August 8th for Steve Lafortune.

I'm very very sad to see the need for so many of these type of events this season, but I'm happy to help in anyway I can. We'll have the BBQ, burgers, dogs and drinks there and all proceeds from this night will be given to Steve's daughters trust fund.

Come out and help support a fallen rider and his family.

I've only met Steve a handful of times, the first time through streetbikeworld.com back in 2005. I was impressed he remembered me years later with a hearty handshake and smile even though I wasn't part of the Barrie riding scene. He also made it out to an RFS fundraiser (bike wash and BBQ back in '08). He seemed like a decent guy. His username used to be Maximus

[/h][h=5]Just a reminder that tomorrow is the fundraiser for Aniesa trust fund. Her father Steve passed away suddenly on July 21st. GTAM is putting on the BBQ at Royal Distributing in Innisfil. A short ride to Brain Freezz after for ice cream where they will also be doing fundraising for Aniesa will take place.... Hope to see all of you come out and support such a great cause![/h]

It's promising to be great weather. I'm even gonna have my brought to Royal so I can enjoy the ice cream afterwards with all the riders. Woo Hoo!

Don't think I ever met Steve, but my heart definitely goes out to his girl and family. I'll be there with a couple riders. You had me at Ice Cream LoL!
