This may be the dumbest thing I've ever seen

Dumb to dress up like Tinkerbell or dumb of Disney to stop her getting in the park? Disney did 100% the right thing in my opinion. They have enough problems controlling their own nonces in character without opening the doors to outside nonces to wander the park.

If she's that anxious to please her boyfriend I'm sure there's plenty of other ways she could do it.

Nope, I'm on exactly the same page. Disney doesn't want kids to see some slooty tinkerbell making out with her BF. The dumb part was an (basically) adult crying on the 'news' about it.

I liked the tone of the article ahah

Disney has always used the iron fist approach. When Walt was running the company, he was the only employee allowed to have facial hair.

How pathetic. Attention whoring at its well..., er, dumbest. What the hell kind of "boyfriend" agrees to dress like peter pan? This girls mother must be a piece of work herself to raise a child like that. I HATE evil Disney corporation, but I don't blame them at all for this one.

Lol - I normally can't read the bulk of what's in the star, but that writer was great:

"And now April can’t stop crying, because she clearly believes that she doesn’t have to follow the rules and that mean people are being mean just to be mean.
Meanwhile, April’s life is totally ruined and she’s going to cry until Disney realizes that she is more special than anyone else and should be allowed to do what she wants."

Love it.

at first i was gonna be sympathetic, imagining a 5 year old dressed up as tinkerbell....then i read that shes 15...grow up.

I have to completely side with Disney on this one. They weren't complaining that she couldn't dress 'how she wants'...they are simply worried about children mistaking guests AS Disney staff. Had they let her through, then why stop the rapist/child abductor who comes dressed as Donald Duck (just making an example here). I assume the other sections of the theme pack (besides Magic Kingdom) don't have staff in costumes, therefore it was a non-issue.

Long story short though, some people need to learn the world doesn't revolve around them, and the good of the many always (or should) outweigh the good of the one.

+1 I almost feel sorry for her bf, but he's the one who chose to be with that piece of work, so he should pay for his mistake

On a side-note, tafb just cancelled his Goofy costume order :D

I thought the same thing, having a little girl myself that would probably want to do that.

But they have an ad on tv with a little girl dressed as a Disney character and her uncle dressed as Aladdin. Wouldn't that be misleading advertising?

But yeah. The boyfriend should look for an "exit strategy". Wimp.
