as much as the truck was really close to him and barely missed him, the rider looked like he was going a fair pace when this happened...close call, yes, should he buy a lottery ticket, no, he should probably just slow down...
Maybe a bit over but the truck straddling the solid white is a classic texter. The bike would only be obvious when it became a hood ornament. The wrong side of the road bit threw me but I also wonder why the rider didn't anticipate the encroachment. Also the driver in true ignorance hit the brakes but didn't try avoidance.
Yikes! The slow-mo was definitely hair-raising.
I dunno, for as close it the truck was, it might even have been intentional. It's not a good idea to bring a motorcycle to a truck fight, defensive anger and rage can lead people into doing very stupid things.

And unless you enjoy the taste of hospital food, leave even more space for unpredictable, idiotic oncoming traffic.
I almost wonder if he target fixated, as he was fairly close to the center line, and appears for a split second to lean even further towards the truck and ever closer.
If I was the pillion, I would have smacked him in the head.

WOW!!! that was close. Nerves of steel to continue riding like that after the fact. A guy ran a stop light going the same direction I was going and almost ripped my left foot peg off. All I could do was shake my head after and laugh at how serious the situation could have been. the guy in the truck is an idiot but he rider should have seen him coming and position himself better. those lanes look kinda small.

Could be NZ - we have those white road markers every 100 metres or so on the side of the road. Not sure about Australia .
