Thinking of selling my Scorpion EXO-R2000 Helmet (Size: Small)

Used this season, maybe less than 20 times. The gold visor itself was $80. How much should I be asking for the helmet? It is black with gold visor. OEM Clear visor had never been used.

Never dropped, not a scratch, nothing. I checked at GP bikes: Shop Scorpion EXO-R2000 Helmets at GP Bikes!. $405+tax

Gold Visor: Scorpion EXO-R2000/R410/R320/R710/T1200/T510 Shield. $62+tax.

Total of $527.

Reason for sale is that I had a shoei before and I think I want to stick with shoei. It is just a personal preference.

If anyone is interested, pm me a decent offer and pick it up. Comes with the helmet bag.

I buy used T-shirts all the time
can get some real interesting ones at Value Village
but they get thoroughly disinfected in the washer

there is no way to get someone else's funk out of a helmet

I don't but it's big business. Having an older brother I wore a lot of hand-me-downs.

Would you buy used bedding and mattresses?

Would you rent them which is what you do when staying in hotels?

Actually I used to buy used coveralls when I knew I was going to do a job that would wreck a pair. Used ones were cheaper than disposable, had pockets and were more comfortable.
 
Used helmets are a tough sell. Normally I just keep my old helmets as pillion helmets or for use on a side by side or similar where the chance of braining yourself is low.

You could try listing it for $200 with the argument that instead of a plastic hjc, they can have a Scorpion for even money, but I'm not sure that marketing strategy will work. Much higher than that and I doubt you will get any interest (and I'm not even sure you will get much at $200). For $100 it will probably move, but that's why I keep them. It will cost me more than that to get a crappier helmet.

No stink in the helmet cuz only did short rides this season. I was able to sell my first helmet which was used and it was CKX brand haha. Anyway, if someone is interested, pm me.

I am ok with $200. Buyer will take everything.
