The current wrangler is so overpriced and far far from its roots as a simple utility vehicle that perhaps stellantis could use this kick in the balls.

Except the target buyer for jeeps never takes them off-road nor cares that they are biying one of the worst vehicles being made. Jeep isn't worried at all.

I don't know how Indian people feel about Mahindra. It could go either way. Pride in a vehicle from home or buying foreign vehicles shows you've made it. I don't think it really matters, Indian and Chinese vehicles will get such a large tariff to protect domestic crap that they will never be popular here.

Now that's a beauty! If I had some spare cash around I'd be looking for a Jeep as a weekend toy. Do some mudding, or you know...curb jumping to skip some traffic. Maybe run over some grass to beat the offramp rush...
