Things you see while riding 🙄

Did the escalade have another 10 people in it or empty car, full trailer?

Some kids I went to high school with died riding in the back of a pickup truck and they tried to get a law passed named after them to make that an offense. IIRC, it died without being passed.

I won’t call 911 for much…but when I see kids riding unbelted you damn sure there’s a call going in.

EDIT: In Poland back when I was younger we’d hook up a sled, or 2, to the back of a family members car….fun times. Especially when uncle hit the brakes for kicks.

Safety not first.
It's not like they're sitting in front of the trailer wheels. /s Oh wait . . .

If they were going slow with the hazards on, I can't give them too much crap. In my younger years, I've ridden down a road on top of a very very full hay wagon. It was much more dodgy than that in every way.

Not sure, honestly I wasn't sure what I saw, when I saw it, bit of shock, was over taking them at that point. I believe they pulled over after I passed them, maybe they thought I was a cop.. :ROFLMAO:

Same. Ride on top of hay back to the barn, yup. Tie Crazy-Carpet to back of ATV in the winter and hit the roads during snowstorms, yup. I'm happy I grew up on a farm.

Good for you to uphold our safety standard.

For sure this isn't the safest way to go from point A to point B. And no seat belt, think about what would happen if it is rear ended. And what's up with the waving...

Oh wait... That sounded awfully familiar. That was exactly what my friend said about me riding a motorcycle. Never mind.... :p

Not sure if you’re mocking me @DoubleDonut but you’re an adult that can make an informed decision.

A child doesn’t know the consequences of these actions and doesn’t really have a say in it. So yes, **** the parents that put their kids in this type if danger for whatever thrill they think they’re providing.

So when your uncle hits the brakes making the rope slack and your sled crash into the car it is "fun times" but when sitting on a solid trailer similar to parades or wagon rides at a maplefest you want to have the police come in. From there maybe they lose the kids to children-aid, kids get put in foster homes where they get abused and live a life of crippling mental health issues which lands them in the criminal justice system.

Mind your business and let them have some fun times.

And be home before the streetlights come on. And don't eat yellow snow. And don't run with scissors.

Yes. Fun times with a big /s.

We were 5-8 years old. Wtf did we know except that it was fun. Would never do that to my kids as I know the risk, especially on an active road.

parades and wagon rides are a bit different than what we see here.

Anyway we obviously have different views on this and let’s leave it there as we are going classic GTAM…off the rails.

Ugh….can’t believe how hard it is to keep the kids from eating snow in the winter.
Haha. Near the outdoor rink this winter, kid picks up a handful of snow and gets scolded. It was 6" from where a dog just ******. Kid said he didn't take the yellow part. Ugh. Need to work on expanding his horizons. He didn't think about yesterdays pit stop. We let them eat off our lawn. At least then it's just a very small amount of squirrel &%&*(%.

Riding up the 404 on Sunday with a buddy and we see a red pickup pulled over on the shoulder with a guy standing on the right side of the truck with a back door open. We assume he's taking a leak facing the truck.

As I pass by I look under the truck and see another set of feet inside of his facing the other way.

As I pass by I look in the mirror and the other door is open with them both in the middle.

Someone was getting a bucket list item stroked (yes I said stroked) off his list. ✊✊ 😮😮

We laughed over the Cardo units for some time afterwards.
