When I was a kid, we used to go out on Halloween with pillow cases to collect all the candy. There were lots of wealthy homes near us who gave out some huge amounts of stuff, like a 50pack of chiclets or large bags of twizzlers and nibs, and some houses even gave out a handful of loonies to each kid.

We would do one big round of the neighbourhood hitting up the biggest houses and once we knew who was giving out the best stuff, we would go home and swap costumes and go back out. So some years we would end the night off with 2 or 3 pillow cases of candy and it would have been enough to last a full year. But of course it never did.

My mom just told me that after Halloween was done and we went to sleep, each night her and my Dad would sneak into our rooms and grab a bunch of candy from our stash. My Dad would take it to work and give it all away to his co workers.

I feel violated:(

Men get Non Hodgkins lymphoma around age 65 ....where in the the hell was THAT in the manual!!??
I caught mine early and as my onco said when he told me I was cancer free after giving me The Big Meal Deal ( his words ) > chemo, radiation and spinal fluid chemo ......you might get cancer again but it won't be this one!
He was indeed correct...

Take away..... pay attention to small changes ( bumps etc ) and do your poop tests.

Hey Shane you mean you didn't get the memo about the Dad tax?
Do you have kids lol?
I don’t have kids and no one told me about no Dad tax!

It might have balanced itself out because as he got older I definitely ate a lot of his junk food when he wasn’t looking:)

Never travel without a swim suit . Better to be looking at it than looking for it . Same with a rain jacket .

I didn't in my dreams believe that i'd be married and have four kids, Hopefully i'm a good dad
Another thing that doesn't come with a manual. I'm sure you are a great father.

I told my kids that I wasn't always going to get it right but I was always going to do what I thought was right.

I'm full of useless things I have learned with age. Can't think of one to share right now, which also comes with age.

Time appears to be somewhat abundant until one hits 30.
After that, every year seems to go by quicker than the year prior.
So true! I'm 32 now and have no idea how we're almost at the end of the year again.
When I was younger I felt like I had so much time to do stuff, now in the off season I feel like I don't have enough time to get all the 2025 race prep done knowing the 6 months will fly by.

When was the last time you kissed someone passionately ?
When was the last time you made love during the day ?
When was the last time you made love somewhere other than the bedroom ?
When was the last time you role played ?

If you cannot remember the answer to any of these questions, you made be entitled to compensation - call Dewey, Cheetum and Howe...
