I was going to post this but realized GTAM isn't really their target audience. It's basically a do-it-yourself timed ride, not race, around Lake Nippising that a local tattoo artist has organized. It's in the spirit of old school bare bones scootertramping. The older and lower tech the bike, the better.

Yeah I know what you mean RetroGrounch, my bike does not conform to the rules, unless I started unbolting plastic.... but still it sounds like it could be fun, and really almost any bike could be made to qualify with a little stripping down.

Sure you could take the plastics off your Gixxer and blow away the old bikes but that's not in the spirit of this "competition".
