The Magic of Makeup

Here is our very own "Zombie Boy" putting on some make-up:

wow, her skin is worse than mine without makeup

"She looks like she could take a d..." - Superbad quote.

I mean that in a good way. Umm, with the make up tho.

I wonder how long ago that acne would have cleared up if she wasn't covering her face in all that crap.

I was thinking the same. It can aggravate the acne.

While growing up I have serious acne and I can relate. I later found out changin my diet changes my acne. I still have a bit of scaring on my face.

that video is unbelievably sad. . .

sad that the young girl thinks that so much of her self-esteem is tied up in her physical appearance
sad that she feels that the world judges her primarily on that appearance

sad that she's probably right

Damn. She is brave.

I'm sure there's gotta be treatment for acne that bad, and I'm sure the make-up isn't helping her skin in the long run.

You know, at least women have the option to cover themselves up with make-up. Guys with skin problems don't get to cover themselves up in the same way.

It sucks 'cause she probably wouldn't have to do that if care about appearance wasn't so slanted towards women.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a vendetta against make-up. Up until that video, I actually despised make-up...but I hate it a lot less if it makes people like her feel better. Must be hard as hell to deal with that stuff. Especially when it's in their teens/younger adult years when it matters the most to the rest of the world.

I've always said that beauty lied primarily in facial structure (if it had to be physical), but I do know people who care about their bf/gf having clear skin. I feel for you ladies (in general) - there's just so much pressure that it's hard not to care about appearance.

:(

Yeah, she sure is brave.

But in my eyes, she'd be more brave to not wear makeup like that all the time, and work on clearing up her skin. And I can say that because I grew up with severe acne, and still have it. Many who have met me know exactly what I'm talking about.

I don't have the 'luxury' of covering it all up with makeup. So what you see is what you get. I feel like I'm more brave for having been exposed to the public for so long with such a severe case, and not crumbling under the pressure of everyone's judgmental eyes.

It's certainly a brave move to come out from under your shell like that, but it's certainly self induced. All those makeups block the pores so they can't breathe. And that's the biggest part of clearing your skin, is having breath-ability. I respect her for making that video though. It's tough to show what you aren't proud of.

I don't take my shirt off in public, and hesitate when I'm close with someone, in a private setting. It also dismantles my chances with most women because it's a hindrance to my appearance. No one wants to be seen with someone who doesn't look like a model.

I do like that video of the zombie guy getting covered up. That's mighty impressive.

Am I the only one who actually thought she looked better with the acne exposed than with the plastic mask on? At least she looked like a nice, cute, normal girl. Just one with facial blemishes.

In any case, anyone who knows her is going to see her without the plastic mask on within the first couple of weeks of getting to know her. What then?

I'm all for using makeup to get dolled up for a job interview, night on the town, special event, or whatever. But who wants to hang out with some fake person who's made up all the time?

Why does that feel weird coming from an old guy like u??

I didn't have any problems with it, and my computer is a pos...

I'd like to see this video but I think it's hosted on a 486 with a 14.4K dial up modem connection........BRB, taking 10 hours to load

Maybe if u close the other stalking applications, this one might speed up

That's a longer process than throwing on cam paint! Think she has more layers too.
Even after a couple days with that stuff on I start to get a bit of acne, so I can't imagine that her doing this EVERY day helps her skin much.

I think she's a cute girl myself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LFs-wW-o4M&feature=related Just some random link in regards to ACCUTANE. While on it you may have deep toughs of suicide and your kidneys may fail,
but your skin sure will cleanup. You may never heard about accutane but you would be surprised how many people actually used it, some of them twice. For some reason they will never talk about as if they have TBC or they are HIV positive. People you know very well or you think that you do... Until once for some reason one of them reveal to you that he was on it,his brother,
brother's girlfriend and her sister twice...........Your head start to spin, what the f... it going on, are they part of some secret society or i am in an episode of TWILIGHT ZONE. It seems that clean skin should stay privilege of a chosen few or they made pact with the devil and are sworn to never talk about it....

I feel for that girl, she has it really bad and it's sad to say if she didn't do what she does every day she would get treated differenty. What's up with the eye brow though??? She spends so much time on her face as it is, it would olny take 3 seconds more to fix up that right brow. lol
