The E-Tracer

Interesting but For half a million dollars??????

They had better sync those training wheels a little better. Imagine falling over in that contraption in rush-hour traffic?!

I want to see it making a left turn at an intersection from a stationary start. I'm not convinced it stays upright on two wheels at a complete stop so I would imagine it stopped and having to complete the turn with the support wheels down. Seems like the support wheels aren't retracted until you reach a certain speed to balance the machine.

I am imagining it falling over AND on the side that the door opens...lmao. So owned.

you guys seriously think these people have invested hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars and didnt think of such a simple problems and their solutions?

problem is that will never be legal in Ontario as a motorcycle BECAUSE the two sets of support wheels come down and contact the ground.

speaking of X-prize, i liked the Canadian entry from Vancouver much better.

EDIT: I have no ****ing clue why the work PC wont link jpegs properly, here's the article.

I firmly believe that common problems and their solutions are commonly overlooked. I hope they have it covered but do I expect them to 200 percent? No.

And you saw how easily it toppled over at slow speeds in that video. If the training wheels weren't there she would have been on her side.

I'm sure they have but they never thought of it that day lol. The chick says she's driven everything, so she should have been able to hop in and take off.

Looks like the training wheels work together and independently according to speed and gyro sensors.

Pretty impressive acceleration!
