I just got mine for the cottage. $0.779 a liter + HST. No carbon tax that I can see.

Could it be embedded in the $0.799 cost per liter? Don't think so.

I just paid $0.67 a liter including the carbon tax plus hst

My place in mount forest, $0.69 plus the taxes. I think last time I filled it was 260 or so and after taxes it was 340

True. But you’d be paying a huge amount to fund a monsterous provincial bureaucracy to manage and regulate and oversee the carbon market.

The reason the cap n trade was killed in Ontario is because the carbon tax is more cost effective for taxpayers.
 
Cap and trade systems are also impossible to shield from corruption, both from corrupt regulators and collusion by market bidders.

This is why it’s not widely accepted.
