Good! thats a good way to teach them a lesson. Too bad there are still too many that havent been caught yet.
 
Is there a rule prohibiting Biker's at a stop light from pulling out their cell phones even to check for missed calls?
 
Charging a higher premium I understand, though I don't think it should carry any more penalty than a speeding ticket unless it results in an accident. I disagree with outright refusing to cover them. When operating the radio is deemed to be unsafe will insurance companies react the same way?

From the way I understand it many people have been charged even checking their phones at red lights. I believe you need to be out of flow of traffic and in park. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
 
This doesn't go far enough. I think they should refuse insurance to anyone who gets convicted of any ticket!! Think of the children.

Wow that's sneaky. But I think this lady has a good defense.
Others though were angered by the tactic. Allison Boyles said she was frightened when someone who she thought was a stranger approached her vehicle. "In that moment, I reached for my phone hoping that sends a message to somebody approaching my vehicle," she said.​

I wonder if anyone's thrown them change and, if so, what do they do with it? I bet they use it to buy drugs.
 
...also what the **** does playing with a phone have to do with playing with a phone WHILE OPERATING A VEHICLE.

The police set up a road block for me one time. When I got to the road block (didn't know it was for me), the sargent asked me why I was driving so fast? Just as I'm about to reply this brown van screeches to a halt right behind me and a guy jumps out of the drivers door with his hand on his gun. I replied "Because I thought someone with a gun was chasing me, AND LOOK, I WAS RIGHT!" lol.

They let me off with "passing on a hill" which was a totally bogus charge, but I happily paid it :)
