GREAT FIND KEITH!!!! SOOOOO want to go!

I wanna go.... In a few years (too much of a noob now) lol

Cool video... A little over-dramatized. Makes me want to go back ASAP though!!!

i hear so much more for the surrounding area roads though, i've tried to go twice and had both trips cancelled, one day though...i know i don't need a road with that many curves in such a short distance...any of the surrounding roads have plenty to offer...

And this vid is why i won't ever ride that road.

It's pretty obvious these guys were trying to be bad ***** in their pre-planned video, but I didn't see that guy cross over the yellow in a real blind corner. He isn't that stupid.
Second, from the date that video was posted and the looks of leafless trees in the Smokey Mountains, I would say it's January which means the road is virtually deserted anyway to pull that stupid "look at me I'm a bad ***" ****.

I only got two minutes into that video before I stopped watching...what the hell is the point of riding a twisty road if you are going to cut corners like that. You might as well go cruise on the highway.

My sentiments as well. It's one of those "Got the tee shirt" places but is it worth the risk? On my Goldwing I would be learning the curves, watching for oncoming semis and worrying about a squid riding up my back. Not my idea of fun. I have some nice gentle dragons closer to home.

I was going to count the number of times the camera bike crossed the line into the oncoming lane (And onto the shoulder) but I ran out of fingers in the first minute or so. Ten oncoming cars in fouteen minutes BTW. Not busy but not a closed course either.

Was #3 bike making signals with his lights or just punching buttons accidently?

Question: Is there something such as turn fatigue / stress where a rider gets sloppier as the ride progresses because his brain can't cope with repeated turn decisions? Kinda like no more than five turns before stopping to pose / sip latte. This guy maxed out in a minute.

^^ The fatigue factor is definitively there...i was in California 1 hour east of Fresno in the mountains absolutely enjoying this twisty road in the rental car just wishing i had my bike with me. It makes the dragon seem like a sprint...it just kept going!! After about an hour of that i felt drained. i had to pull over and collect myself and slowly make my way down the mountain. I can imagine what kind of a mental workout it would have been on a bike.

Just like any other road. Ride like if there will be an 18 wheeler around that corner. If u are not prepared for that. Get ready for a surprise
