Tenere Expedition Tent

Not a big tourer myself, but this caught my eye the other day:

"With enough room for you, a companion and your ride, the Tenere Expedition Tent ($399) is easily one of the best motorcycle adventure tent solutions we’ve come across. Developed by the minimalist two-wheeled trekkers at Redverz, the Tenere offers designs specific to motorcycle expeditions. Consisting of two vestibules along with a separate inner-tent, the main vestibules provide enough space to keep a motorcycle away from prying eyes, stow gear and even boasts enough clearance for a rider over 6′ in height to stand, change or do tune-ups. An inner-tent also provides enough space for a queen size air mattress to comfortable shelter two. When you’re ready to go, the entire tent packs down to a 10″ x 21″ pack weighing just 13 lbs. After all, just because you’re on an adventure doesn’t mean you have to rough it."

Happy travels.

I've got one..It's awesome! Kept the bike in it while I camped, and still had tons of room. I'll be using it again at summerfest :)

I have one as well, though have not used it yet. My trip plans changes as I bought a new bike a few weeks ago. Very large, lots of room. I personally dont care about parking my bike inside, but I love the fact that I can store my gear in the HUGE vestibule, and be able to almost stand up. Compared to my Sierra tent, which is nice and small, but is basically crawl around inside, and no vestibule at all. The tenere packs up only slightly larger as well.

Pretty easy to setup, once you get the hang of it. Put it up a few times in my back yard to get used to it, and it can easily be done with one person.

hahaha everyone says they don't care about parking inside. I loved it! Kept the bike there every night. My buddy would be drying off his bike every morning from the dew or night rain. Mine was tucked away, with all my gear laying on it. The motorcycle makes an amazing clothes rack! If is cold at night, when you put the bike in and zip up, the heat off the bike warms up the tent really nice! The vestibule would be perfect if it was raining too. We had planned to just set the chairs up inside but never had the bad weather. I can't wait to use it again at summerfest! WOOHOO.

wow now that is cool. What do you guys use to prevent the weight of the bike puncturing the flooring of the tent when using sidestand or centrestand?
