So does TD offer a 12 month payment plan or is it strictly the 7 month payment plan?

When grabbing insurance, I was told that I don't have the 12 month instalments option - I was told I only have the 7 months option. But recently while grabbing a quote for another ride, I was told that I'm able to do the 12 month instalments option.

Can anyone clarify whether those under TD motorcycle insurance have that 12 month option? I'd love to know.

Thanks, people!

Whether you pay in 7 installments or 12, it doesn't change the fact that you are paying monthly. As far as I'm aware, TD only has a 7MO payment plan (unless you were grandfathered in or something). I don't know why anyone would want a 12MO payment plan anyway . . . by paying over 7MO and renewing every April, this guarantees that you're never on the hook for unpaid premium.

You don't have to have a TD bank account for the premium to be automatically withdrawn. Paying your insurance bill by pre-authorized debit is no different than paying any other bill (such as your cell phone).

For convenience with pay installments a bank account of any would be required. You will most likely be charged a premium fee for the installments per months, just depends who you signup with. If you pay in full, then no premium fees.

For more accurate information you should give them a call, not too many number keys away. ;) Every insurance companies have different installment setups. The way I had it described to me is this.

You pay for the 7 months of the (typical riding season) and you get the other months free.
