Im looking to buy an exhaust for my 09 Repsol, and would like to pick your brains regarding the Taylormade Exhaust. Based on looks alone, the thing is gorgeous, and in my opinion is a great upgrade (looks wise) from the pictures that I've seen.

What are the pros/cons?

Has anyone had one on their bike?

Please comment on install complexity, quality of materials used, abuse tolerance, etc...


Any input is greatly appreciated :)

from what i read about em its not the best quality exhaust

Helped as buddy install one on his 2012.

Instructions = Crap
Appearance before install = Crap
Appearance after install = Awesome
Sound = Awesome

Loved mine, sounds great looks awesome. Power commander and auto tune aMUST. Mapping supplied on power commander site had mine burning very rich. Servo bypass plug that I got with mine was a 4 prong but on the bike is a 6 prong. Had to leave servo motor in just disconnected cable. No fault lights that way.
But not a plus in power department just looks.
 
looks fantastic, but you'll actually lose a couple HP points from what I've read on 1000RR.net, akrapovic or leo IMO.
 
I have Taylormade on my 08 for two years now with no issues, quality is good,sounds good(to me anyway lol) looks great.. as far as HP loss if any it's not enough that u will notice...
I just ordered another one for my 2012...
