Who uses this app, and why/why not?? I'm not using it but lately it pops up more and more on my phone, and it's driving me nuts!!! Should I get it or not bother???? Sorry if this has been talked about I didn't see it on the first two pages :D
 
Easier to read on the phone and I think somehow more efficient in what it downloads. I use and think it is good.
 
Every post that is an advertisement from tapatalk annoys me.

Yes, because people either don't know how to turn off that "sig" or think it's cool to advertise for free... Anyway, I use tapatalk also. It's definitely faster than using the web interface but it isn't perfect. I'm using it right now...
 
I use it too. It makes forum use from a smart phone much easier & you can upload pics from it as well. Great app!

NO.. it's because the free version has the "sig" that you can't turn off. In the pirated (paid) version you can turn it off.

:lmao:That's some funny chit. But you do make good a point. Although I do use the app, I took the time to change the signature to delete said dumb *** phrase. If you want me to sign my name with that, perhaps I should get paid to use the app? That's my thinking anyway.

As for the app itself…I like it. But too often it does not work when I attempt to use it in 3G. More specifically it doesn't let me search or post or pretty much anything useful with any forums. On the iPad in Wifi it works great. Problem is I already use NewsRack for reading anything new on the forums both on the iPad and puter but responding/participating using NR is a pain on any device other than a computer. I find TT a pain to catch up on any new posts but it's great for catching up on any threads you're already following and responding/participating in threads.

Basically it's a mixed bag.

I use it. It 's easier to navigate on the phone.
 
I'm using it now. I guess the sig is defaulted to the off position because it's not showing up.
