Taking Out Headlight For Track - New Cover?

I'm considering using the stock fairings on my trackbike as replacing them with true track fairings won't be any cheaper than the price of selling the stockers. I would like to sell the headlight though but what can I use to fill in the hole left by it (and I'll cover that piece with vinyl to match the bike).
Ideas? Bike is 07 GSXR600 btw.

The track fairings are 10x easier to remove/fix compared to stock. No idea what to use to fill the hole.

Ya.

Fiberglass stuff is a lot easier to remove/install and also easier to fix if you do throw it down. Plastic tends to explode into many thousands of pieces.

07 GSXR600. There are about 7 billion of those as race bikes out there.. a cheap set of used race bodywork would serve you well.

Sircastic may have an other set of used track fairings for your bike. I just bought one set and I'm sure he has two.

Thanks, I've been trying to find a used set but haven't had any luck. I'll ask him.

I run my track set up with oem fairings and a hole where the headlight is... yeah not as cool looking but I'm still smiling in the corners.

I need to do the same for my track 03 GSXR 600and I found something close to what we need on ebay:

I wonder if we can ask them to make a custom plate to block the entire headlight area and then epoxy the plate onto the oem fairing from the inside...
My track bike came with rashed OEM fairings and a headlight, and I'm keeping it the way it is if can find a block off plate to get rid of the headlight.

Race bodywork is much easier to repair. When I used stock platics on the track I just duct taped the headlight hole.

I emailed the guy and he said they can make the cover for ~$40 unpainted, shipped to Canada, it's actually less work for them cause they don't have to cut the holes and paint it.

Fiberglass is better but I already have these fairings on and they're in decent condition for the track, I don't see why I should replace them and spend more money to buy other fairings
