Taking gas tank off monster s2r

I am in the process of taking my gas tank off to install a battery tender

The bike is 2005 s2r 800

I have already pulled off one hose from the gas tank which was held on by a mini clamp now there are two bigger hoses that are attached with screw clamps as you can see in the picture

is it just a matter of screwing these off and pulling the hoses off?

The book i have is for 2006 s2r
The photo and set up in the book is not identical to mine.
It states use the quick release fittings which leAd me to believe that i shouldnt have to unscrew and pull off the hose

So how does the quick release work not sure if mine even has it

Update

I managed to get the battery charger connectors onto the battery just by holding up the gas tank with one hand and working on it with the other hand..so that part of the equation is solved

however I would still like to know how these fuel lines disconnect
