Tail/running light issue zx6r

Hey guys, My 06 zx6r is having tail light issue. Its an integrated tail/signal light. The signals work fine, the brake light works but the regular running tail light doesnt come on both when the bike is on or when its in park. I checked and replaced the fuse which was fine in the frrst place. Made sure the connection pins of the light itself are not the issue by hooking up my stick tail light(which i still have) and same thing, brake light comes on and no running light. I checked the connector(end of wires) by cutting the wires and individually connecting it to the light connectors and same situation as above.Signals work, brake light works and no running light Aside from a cut wire, is there anything i should look for that could cause this?
Thanks.

Im not sure what brand it is but i doubt its the light itself since i tried hooking up my original stock tail light and i got the same result. Brake lights would come on but the running light wouldnt. I even tried to go upstream and check the wires but woulcnt find anything. Mind you, i didnt go all the way back up because i didnt wanna damage anything else.

then it sounds like you have a short somewhere

On the left side of the tail - there will a junction box - on the right side of the starter seleoid. Trying wiggling that connector.

IF your fuses are GOOD . I would look there. That's where your orginal injector issue started too. Those coonectors should have DI-electrical grease already....

You might want to look into buying a mint used harness with the fuse box and the junction box......fix one issue here...and some other thing pops up.

I looks at the junction box and i couldnt tell if theres anything wrong with it. At least it didnt seem like it. But with electrical stuff, its hard to tell. When i disconnected the junction box, the signals wouldnt work and when i reconnected it, they worked again. So im assuming that ts doing its job?

Those pins have contact issues - they have been cleaned with contact terminal cleaner / promoter then stuffed with di-electrical grease.

I am pretty certain it is a fuse or housing issue...but then again last time it wasn't what I thought it was. Its just bizzaar the issues you are having.

Hehe. It needs your skilled hand sir. Help! :D

If you don't have the time or ability to track back the issue with a multimeter than just send it up to Frekeyguy or some shop. All of the major points here have been covered already.

If you want to figure this out yourself, start checking for actual power along the line from the fuse to the light using a multimeter and find out where you are losing it.
