What is it with today's manufacturers and their cheesy, silvery plastic fetish?
From a Civic to an X5, there's an abundance of plastic elements painted silver. Why??? It really doesn't look like any kind of metal, it is a bright, sometimes shiny surface which is not suitable for the interior of the car, and especially in case of cheaper vehicles, it fades really quickly, revealing plastic's natural colour.
What is the bloody point? Does anyone really like that tacky crap? Just keep it black, like it used to be.
