Wondered that too but my guess is where the sponsor money came from.

There is no Canadian team, USA = close enough. They turned in some great lap times on those old bikes!

Denis Curtis Racing Frames in Belleville constructed most of the chassis used.

CMR provided ALL the frames for Team America.
AT least a third of the Aussie and Kiwi bikes are CMR product.
None of the Team Britain bikes are CMR.

7 of the top 10 were on CMR frames.
Szoke finished 10th, 16 sec off the lead.
