Should this be moved to Jokes?
 
That was the whole reason I started riding V-Strom's - they were slightly better looking than KLR's and still no one wanted to steal them.

And that probably still applies to the 1st and 2nd gen models, but maybe from 2017 onwards they are more desireable.

Sorry for your loss and hope insurance covers it well.

There needs to be a vetting process for this site. Most other forums make you create 2 post about yourself in the new members area to establish some form of character etc.. on the user. Would avoid these low quality dump and run posts.

What the hell are you talking about? It's the perfect bike to steal because it can be used in Africa, the Middle East and South American roads, or what, you expect your R6 to be ridden in the muddy mountain roads of the Amazon?

At least she didn’t add a link to a spam laden website. Her post is only slightly less useful than calling the police and asking them to come and look at an empty parking spot where the bike had been parked.

For the mods it’s another item on their already busy hit list.

Do you know why the 3rd world rides 150cc motorcycles and not Vstroms?

I mean, I have one and I don't know anyone who would go out of their way to steal one lol. That's why I leave the key in it downtown without worries.
