A friend got it down to $8400 plus tax for a brand new 2013 600 gixxer. Good deal?
My friend wanted to go down to $7500 plus tax.

I might be interested in the 750, wonder what their best price they can do for that.

How much extra is assembly?
That's a score.
Although they don't stock nearly as many, a 750 shouldn't be more than $1K more.

i went in about a month ago to try and get a 2012 750...they wouldnt go below 12400 out the door...i walked away

Wait for end of season and get a better deal. I did on my 750 back in '08 for not much more than a 600.

Brand new, not demo. They have a lot of inventory and I just heard their radio ads on 680 news...saying over 350 bikes on stock. they are overstock and really need to clear their bikes. Also, I guessing one of the main reason is that Suzuki is exiting Canada for their car segment which probably negatively impact their bikes even though its separate division but the perception could be that the warranty and support services could be reduced. Some may even fear Suzuki motorcycle may exit too (which I seriously doubt would happen) but some people might make that correlation. Anyway, probably sale is not good, otherwise they would not be trying so hard to get rid of their bikes. Anyway, will go make a visit tomorrow and check it out myself. Will go to the yonge/407 then Newmarket.

Btw, the sales guy call my friend back saying they will try again if they can make it happen...almost begging him to come to the dealer again but he is playing hardball and said he is not interested anymore even for $7500. My buddy is cash deal, I guess they are really willing to take a haircut. My f..king friend is a greedy punk, now he now wants to try $7000 or even lower.

when i went there last week. they guy tried to be smart with me and told me its around 14k for it. When I mention the kijiji add, he started to stutter.
Ive Been checking bikes for sometime now and 8400 for brand new bike is awesome. I personally think it looks fugly, no offence to gixxer boys but a great bike non the less.
On the other hand I set up importfest today and first time I saw the new zx6r 636 in person. Now that thing is gorgeous but i doubt you'll get the discount there lol.

Regarding the zx6r, Kahuna was selling the remaining 2012 model for less than $8000 without even needing to negotiate the price but I heard there were only like 3 or 4 left anyway. So Suzuki's kijiji ads were not that thrilling to me at first. Also, another friend bought a brand new R1 from snow city $6k off on a last season model. But if my friend can get it for $7000, that would be a deal of the year.

I don't suppose they have a 600 demo bike? I've ridden the 600RR and ZX6R and would like to try the Suzuki.

Went by... No deals. Their factory rebate is it, not a cent less. I told them my friend's offer and they asked whom he dealt with, I forgot to ask. I tried to call my friend couldn't reach him. When I got a hold of him and ask him who he spoke with, he said he forgot the name and he said he is not interested anymore. I am not sure if my friend was just BSing me.

Anyway, sorry if I got anyone's hope up of being able to get a gixxer for $7500.

Realistically, how much can u get it down at year end sale? I know someone mentioned that they got a good deal at year end. The current Suzuki offer, it's the same deal everywhere else. Snow City actually selling it slightly less right now.

I think your friend was just BSing trying to hype his negotiating skills. That was too amazing of a deal!!!

In my opinion, dealers are pretty firm during the riding season. End of the year, you may be able to drop the dealer and freight charges and a little more that you get because they have already discounted the price. All depends on the dealer, the negotiating sales person and you....Try going in with a reasonable amount right now and say you are prepared to buy TODAY, they love that word....one of the dealers might just bite. Good luck.

7500? I'd tell your buddy to go f--k himself. They're sale is 9799 for a 600. 2012 750's are going for ten. Trust me I'm looking. Your friend is a moron if he thinks the barter system works these days. I'd laugh him right out the door

As for your question. 2012's this year were being sold for 9 new. If you risk waiting until next year on a last years model you'll save

I think this was a very misleading thread... A he said, she said. Keep this kind of stuff in the girls section please.
