Suzuki C109 Owner's

I gotta ask, how does that thing handle? I thought the M109 was a monster until I sat on a C109 at the dealer... it swallowed me up in the seat... i don't rememeber though, does it have a more "cruiser like" position and sit up more? Or still a slight lean forward?

It is more of a Cruiser. Enormous power and torque, rides very well. The rear tire is 240, it takes a few minutes to get used to it but after that it is a very stable ride, handles very well, excellent on turns. Just a great machine all together..

I agree.... the M109 is the same bike.. tire..... but I think the C is heavier and the styling is more... well... like you said.. more stereotypical cruiser.

Reading around on the 109 forums... guys who have the M109 said they didn't like it.. too big.. but hey, each their own..I like the luggage on that though than the M. I also wish the C had better colour schemes.

Yes the C109 is a monster just like the M109 but the C109 was tamed down from the M109. They have smaller throttle boddies. It is a little heavier simply because of the extra's you put on and pure styling. The C109R I think is only 793LBS. As long as you don't drop it, she's easy to handle. I found it too be very snappy in the lower gears and the stock pipes need more sound. I have drilled mine out now and it is better but I will be getting louder pipes for it. I am very pleased with the bike and love everything about it. The price of these monsters is good as well compared to others. Fit and finish so to speak it is plain but that is what I want I can add anything but the power. If anyone out there is near Kitchener or Wellesley then yes lets get a ride together.
