anyone know of a good place to go to get your bike set up rite the first time ? not a mechanic.. a suspension guy that only does suspension install or what not.. thanks

The thing that's so great about John (besides his huge suspension-brain) is that he'll set up your bike and show you what he's doing and why. He'll also tell you what to watch for and how to make corrections to dial it in afterwards. +1 for this place.

this looks like a really great place.. but is it worth the 2.30 hour drive
He's absolutely amazing
Flawless job on my bike, and anyone I've ever recommended to him has been happy. DO NOT wait, get it in ASAP before the massive rush.

ahahahah I would love to but I also would like to service the shocks front and back I don't think they would be able to get all that done in one day. still will call and find outHe's absolutely amazing

More than likely, add new fork and/or shock springs (sprung accordingly) to your to-do list before tuning.
A day is plenty of time to do the shock/forks.
I was there for 4hrs and in that time he took the ohlins shock out of the bike, rebuilt it, and re-installed it, took the front end completely apart to get rid of a stiction issue and then set up that bike (track) as well as my street bike with good baseline settings for me.
