Apart from Accelerated, are there any other reputable shops one could take their bike to for a suspension set up? (preferably in the GTA and not past Peterborough?)

If west is easier than east, I've had track setup done at Grand Bend by some of the guys who work with Fast Company out of Kitchener.

By 'set up' do you mean doing a basic setting adjustment (sag, damping adjustment) or changing your setup (by either respringing and revalving your stock system or buying new components)?

Has the suspension been adjusted at all from stock? If you haven't set the sag or played with the clickers, you can do that yourself and then send it to a shop if you're still unable to get it working the way you like. Sag setting is pretty easy to do with a tape measure and a friend or two depending on how precise you want it, but anything is better than nothing if it's still at the stock settings. And if you can't even set the sag properly, then you know you need new springs.

If you want, we can even do it at the next Burgerr meetup if you bring a socket for the fork preload and the spanner for your shock preload. I have a Motool Slacker, which is a glorified tape measure, but makes setting the sag a little more accurate and a lot faster.

basic adjustment really, primarily for comfort over bumps

its entirely stock, I think most of the adjustment is done via clickers or knobs

Theres so many things though, high speed vs low speed compression, preload, so for comfort over bumps, I have no idea where to begin

The RaceTech Suspension Bible was recommended here many times and is the most comprehensive source for sure:
[I know it’s not the actual book, but you can find one online, or purchase it properly LOL]

But I found I used this article much more as it shorter and has easy troubleshooting steps.

It’s very satisfying to be able to explain properly what you feel and want to Suspension Tech and be able to fine tune general setup afterwards on your own :)

Just a warning that article could use some editing - early on it gives some magic numbers for street sag that seem aggressive to me, but much further down it gives different numbers that also properly reference suspension travel
