Supersprox Chain is stretching

This review is about the product, not the dealer.
I bought a Supersprox Chain & Sprocket Kit having 2t up in the rear and regular in front from http://www.gpspec.com.
The product looks nice and everything, but my chain stretches every 300 - 400 kms. I do regular commuting and my OEM setup was good for about 4000 - 5000 kms before I had to tighten the chain.

Is it an RK chain? Mine stretched like crazy. I'm now using a DID ERV3 chain, same as on both my track bikes, and no issues.

Will keep this in mind when i'm shopping for a chain.

Buy a good DID, like a ERV3......stretching will be yesterday's news.....plus their gold coating seems to last a long time

I don't have a Suzuki under 170whp and two of them are over 180whp. No issues with the 520 series ERV3. I personally wouldn't buy another chain again.

DID ERV3 - great chain used it on my 998 for years with very little adjustment although I am no Checca

New chains stretch a lot initially too, maybe not the ERV3 but the lower quality ones and even oem. If it doesn't eventually slow down after a couple thousand km than you have somthing to be concerned about. Keep it properly adjusted and you should be fine.

My RK never stopped stretching. That's why I flipped it out at 20K.

Another vote for the ERV3...

I thought I would have to adjust it after the install, but it held up well and no adjustments needed so far.
It's been ~2000 KM's since and I regularly check for slack.

Let me know if you need an ERV3 gold. I have a brand new one pre-cut to 112 links that needs to be sold. $100.00

The only think I don't like about my ERV3 is it rusts like a mofo cause my bike lives outdoors :(

My neighbour has the EK MXVZ (iirc) and uses the same lube as me, bike sits outdoors, and never a spec of rust on it :(

With my new R1 putting out 160WHP I'm not sure if a 520 chain is a good idea?? She's got the OEM 530 on there now.

Chances are the ERV3 even thou its a 520 is rated at a higher tensile strength then your OEM 530

They run them on race bikes with well over 160 HP

And I find it strange that your having rust issues, I have been using ERV chains for about 10 years back before it was an ERV2...And I really have to neglect the chain to have rust become an issue on them....I actually have one that has been sitting outside for months just laying on the ground, and its not even rusted that bad...
