SuperSport: Anyone else I should call?

I'm looking to trade up to a GSX-R 600 or 750 and I'm in the process of getting quotes. State farm has given me one I can handle, but curious if there is anyone else I should call before I throw in the towel and go with them. So far I've got:

State Farm - $1365, $1720
TD/Primmum - $2100+, $3000+
Riders Choice - Won't insure
Dejardins - Won't insure
Jevco - Won't insure (so I've heard)

I just turned 30
I've had my M2 for about a year now
1+ year of motorcycle and car insurance
Clean record
Married, only one in house with license

From my own experience (which is likely equal or less than yours) State Farm will be your best, because your considering a SuperSport. Each company seems to vary, and how SF does it is favorable for sportbikes.

But Dejardins just purchased State Farm (Canada), which will take effect Jan 2015 (I think). No one knows for sure what will happen at this time.

If it were me, I'd personally go with State Farm.

Thanks.

Thats the plan just curious if there is anyone else worth calling.

Allstate seems to be competitive for the 30&over car+motorcycle crowd. Although I believe they may require a full M licence.

Go with Statefarm, they're the only reasonable company out there.

and now the Monopoly is taking them out of the game in Canada. we're all screwed in 2015.

seriously, this insurance BS has to stop.

If you want you can talk to my agent .. Her name is Andrea Wilson. She's a very nice lady. I know all statefarm pricing is the same .... I think .. But she'll do her best to help you out as much as she can ... Shes been my agent since 2008 ever since I started riding.

Tell her Andrew with the Ninja 636 recommended you go and see her.

Amazing, looks like I've got some calls to make on Monday. Thanks everyone for the help. I'll post the results if I find anything.

Call Allstate if you are 30. AFAIK, they won't do a stand alone SS policy. I got in at a good time last year and they did one for me.. I saved 25% from my switch from SF.

Yeah I tried them on Friday but they do require a full M. I'm stuck with M2 until the end of June so I'm out of luck this year.

Some allstate offices won't even insure a bike, there's one guy in Maple, off of Rutherford, really cool guy, he insures motorcycles, but again you have to have a full M.

When getting your TD quote did you check to see if you qualify for any of their Affinity group rates? My old University was on the list and it dropped by almost half. And while SF was still competitive, it was only that way if I moved my cage/house to them too which I wasn't interested in doing for the sake of owning a motorcycle.
